Madagascar GPS Map is a simple, accurate and entirely offline gps navigation app for iPhone or iPad 3G.
All App features and map data is stored within your device, allowing you to explore freely without the worry of expensive data charges from your mobile carrier.

The map is nice so I thought it would be good, but no matter what I try it shows me as being downtown Tana so I cannot use direction feature. That makes the app pretty useless since I can do more than that on my iPhone maps app. I would like this fixed or a refund!
The GPS map app fails to deliver on Kaart Datas description in any meaningful way. This isnt a GPS-based location-aware map, like an offline Google Maps. Its simply a map, of dubious quality. You can scroll around it -- thats about it. It doesnt work on an iPad, it crashes on the iPhone, both running the latest iOS, though it crashed/failed to work under the previous version too. Nothing has changed despite the "updates". Its cheaper than the App Store alternatives, but you get what you paid for -- well, you get nothing, really, but if something seems too good to be true... I cant speak to the other (similarly themed) apps sold by Kaart Data, but I would be extremely careful and certainly wouldnt hand over any money unless a large number of reviews were overwhelmingly positive. My experience has me convinced that Kaart Data markets a product that doesnt work and cant be made to work, and all its offerings --probably-- suffer from the same flaws. Ive been buying other apps for years, and never have been so disappointed by any App Store purchase. Beware.
